1. Can I schedule a site visit for a corporate event?
Absolutely. We encourage prospective clients to schedule a site visit to experience the event spaces firsthand and discuss the needs of their program with our events team.
2. Is there a food and beverage minimum for corporate events?
Yes. Food and beverage minimums vary by event space, date, time, and event format. Our events team can provide the applicable minimum when preparing your proposal.
3. Are there fees in addition to the food and beverage minimum?
Yes. All events are subject to New York State sales tax and a 24% administrative fee. Depending on the event format and space reserved, a room rental fee may also apply.
4. Does Manhatta offer audiovisual services for corporate events?
Yes. Manhatta partners with two preferred audiovisual companies that can provide everything from microphones and presentations to full-scale production. Outside AV vendors are not permitted.
5. Can we bring in outside vendors for a corporate event?
Outside vendors may be permitted with prior approval and must comply with building requirements. Audio visual services must be provided by one of Manhatta’s approved AV partners. All vendors working onsite must provide a valid Certificate of Insurance.
6. Do vendors need to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI)?
Yes. All vendors working onsite must submit a valid Certificate of Insurance before the event date.
7. Can Manhatta accommodate dietary restrictions for corporate events?
Yes. Our culinary team is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, food allergies, and food aversions whenever possible. We kindly ask that you notify us in advance so our chefs can prepare thoughtful substitutions for your guests.
8. Can Manhatta accommodate hybrid or virtual presentations?
Yes. Manhatta’s preferred audiovisual partners can support virtual and hybrid presentations, subject to the specific technology and production needs of the event.
9. Can Manhatta host corporate holiday parties?
Yes. Manhatta offers a variety of event formats for corporate holiday parties, from cocktail receptions to seated dinners and larger celebrations.
10. Can Manhatta host client entertainment and executive dinners?
Yes. Manhatta’s private event spaces are well suited to client entertaining, executive dinners, and smaller corporate gatherings.
11. Are there hotels and public transportation near Manhatta?
Yes. Manhatta is conveniently located near several public transportation options and a variety of hotels throughout Lower Manhattan and the surrounding area. Our events team is happy to provide recommendations for nearby accommodations and transportation options to help make planning your event as seamless as possible.
